About the artworks of Patricia Petapermal
What was postmodernism about? To rebuild a world after deconstruction.
So what was left?
A sheet of music, a piece of text by Marius and M. Dugiel, the face of Emperor Franz Joseph, the municipal bond of a Hungarian house bank, a few “tâches” like those of Jackson Pollock or Sigmar Polke, Napoleon on his retreat from Russia. This is what the paintings of the artist are about.
And so not only through the centuries a historical space is created, but with the means of poetry that fluid of all creativity:
“connect the unexpected”.
