Such an emotional project: the illustration of the chronicle of the Tempich family!

Based on a multitude of original documents, the life of the family members was traced – their successes, their strokes of fate and their possessions.

As so often, what counts here is more than the content, the symbolic value of the corresponding documents – historical evidence and emotional memories.

In cases where the content was only a fragment or even barely more than could be guessed, my artistic treatment lends a little poetry à la “connect the unexpected“.
